Antonio Bertoni


Improviser, composer and performer, works with traditional instruments, self-made tools, found objects and electronics. He started with electric bass, then he studied double bass at the Piacenza conservatory. He studied tabla with Pritam Singh and piano with Umberto Petrin. He studied some african traditions with Omar Hayat and others.  He works with theatre, dance and cinema as a composer, performer and technical consultant or inventor. He creates music also with the pseudonym Ongon. He published his work as a soloist or with different bands and projects on Leo Records (UK), Important Records (US), Boring Machines (IT) and others.
