Ana Foutel (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Pianist, composer and performer who builds her work from the destruction of a safe place towards an insatiable and engaged search of its own language along an intense professional career, which takes her to outstand today as one of the most interesting personalities in the piano sound investigation and extended techniques. Her work published in the book “El otro piano” (2008 and 2016) is unique and is diffused in workshops, magistral lessons and concerts.
Improvisation, introspection as a soloist and in collaboration with acoustic and electroacoustic musicians have widened her perspective to develop her own technique and music.

Edgardo Palotta (Quilmes, Argentina) is multi-instrumentalist, improviser, able to approach different musical styles without prejudice with vitality and dedication. He develops an important activity as a Choir and Orchestra Director developing a varied repertoire which comprehends from classical Mozart, Bach, Fauré to King Crimson and Led Zeppelin writing in the latter the orchestra adaptation.
He was Director of the Degree of Composition with electroacoustic means at the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (between 2011 and 2017).
Free improvisation is the foundation of this assembly and “Mandarina” is their first record as a duo.
