ArBrUr is an experimental improvised music duo that was formed within the APNÉES association by Enzo Favre, double bass and objects, and Philippe Tastevin, handmade percussion. Through moments of silence and saturation, the unconventional instruments let emerge a wild lyricism that alternates between abrasive industrial rhythms and shamanism of matter . ArBrUr evokes both the call of the deer and the rattling of tree branches, creating the atmosphere of a forest and its animals. It is a journey into the strange unknown, like a paddle moving through uncharted waters. The music of ArBrUr is radical, its soundscapes can be compared to cries, songs, or lamentations, which add an emotional dimension to their approach to sound.
